found this metal piece at my old job its quite close to what im gona need so im gona use it at rear end of my x wing ive painted it dove grey to match the rest of the x wing it will need another coat.
i will also be filling in the gap between those panels soon.

ive taken my r2d2 movie replica props head and put it onto the rear end of my x wing for effect to gauge whats left to do and how it can look.

i am very happy with how it looks. it really shows up how its coming along. ☺

checking this piece out again for the top rear and ye i can work with this. it was a good idea taking this part home from my old job for free it just looked like something i may use later and it didn't take that long tobe used ☺. its got its 2nd coat of dove grey and it looks way better for it and doesn't look out of place.
