My LOTR display

Yep... Water cleaned it up really good, but there a few lines I cant remove... Maybe Alcohol to clean it up?!?

Lucky girl... :)

I wish I had so much cool stuff when I was a boy...

Will try it tomorrow in daylight...

A pity that this shiop got no other LOTR swords, the shipping was damn low...

If you find some other LOTR stuff in europe (swords or props) let me know... ;)

OH MY GOSH.
I nearly had a heart attack!
That is amazing; one of the best prop replicas I have ever seen. Very inspired!

Thanks - Indy did a great job on the books.

Adding a couple more pieces - the Berserker Uruk Hai helmet I made, a Urik Hai schimitar and Striders sword.

I really would like to figure out a cool way of displaying the helmet next to the uruk sword, any ideas?

Thanks Tobin.

I also have this UC Sting on the way from another member here. It just got through UK customs today in fact:

:love

Best way to display is maybe a shelf with the sword snd next to it the helmet. or just het a lifesize uruk... :lol

This sting looks really nice... Yeah and I have to get the book someday, too. Is and was one of my favorite props...

Well, if you got the space for that, why not... you can get cheap mannequins, and if the character got a mask, its the best what you can do... coll presentation for all masked characters like Freddy, Jason, different SW characters, and of course and Uruk from LOTR. :)

The Redbook of Westmarch looks fantastic, I have also ordered a copy from Indy, can't wait for it to arrive!

You'll enjoy owning a Red Book Andy, they are great.

My UC Sting arrived yesterday (thanks again Chris!), here it is wallmounted:

BTW: Anything like a pattern for the sting grip painting out there?!? I have made a lot of paintjobs the last time, but this sting grip drives me mad... I tried and it always seems to have the wrong look, mainly wrong space between the lines and leafs...

I think I know why, too.

The handle on the replica you have is much wider than the UC or screen used version, so it makes it nearly impossible to get the design right.

It's tricky to explain, but basically the leaf design will only look completely correct on a correctly proportioned handle. So you have to use a little artistic license and adapt to work with what you have.

I made another thread about this earlier today, but here is my One Ring with a fairly accurate chain I found at lunchtime today:

I'm quite pleased with how it looks. :)

Will try it tomorrow again... I also thought about to try a sting from the shop you gave me... meybe there is a grip-paintjob included... :lol

I dunno bud, it might be exactly the same replica from a different source. In fact, I'd say it's quite likely.
