Yes, position is important! :) Zodus, don't let these posts deter you from putting up more pics. You have a nice helmet. When it comes to Vader, comparisons to other helmets will always be made. Guess it comes with the territory. :lol However guys, this is a showoff thread, so please be polite.

Yeah, it all comes down to personal opinion. I love my V2. Nice and crisp. All this talk of accuracy in helmet detail is a bit headache inducing (which is common place on the Prop Den), but I understand if your that much of a Vader fanatic.

Lol it was a crap camera but I will get that better pick soon and yes the bad ring will not let it sit properly so hopefully the new ring will get it to rest like it should. I am a Vader fanatic I just want to get a good costume going and I think this is a good start!

Well, having seen several pictures of the V2 I can only say it looks nice to the eye. Whether yours is good... well... waiting for a better picture, but would be surprised if it didn't look the way it should. :lol

Regarding the paint chip. Man... the worst kind of paint to have chipping is metal paint. You'll never be able to match the direction of the metal flakes in the original paint job, which is why you would normally have to repaint the whole section. Though, a picture of said damage could definitely help, so better advice can be given... though... it may be a difficult repair job.

I got the replacement ring in very quickly. He is working with me to get my helmet done the way I want it which is really cool for him to get this done so quickly....Ok these are better pictures but not great as I have a cruddy camera and I am no photographer but I tried at least :) Anyway I hope the dome is at least sitting in a good spot...looks like it could be a tad too high but its hard for me to tell because I see it all the time.
