My New Universal Mask Pattern (Spider-Man Edge Of Time) / Mi Nuevo patron universal p

Ok that's the situation, when I was child I wish a lot a mask of my favorite superhero of all time Spider-Man, but here in Mexico don't exist a good work making mask of Spider-Man only exist a great work making wrestling mask.

When I learn how to make a good Spider-Man mask I discover a very big mistake in almost all Spider-Man mask. Which is this mistake?
Answer: Almost all people use the Raimi Base Mask Pattern to make another design of Spider-Man mask, for example TASM or TASM2 mask, which they pattern aren't same than the Raimi Mask.

So I decided make an ALL NEW and maybe ALL DIFFERENT mask pattern.

Fist: I search the web lines concord with other patterns (Sorry if you don't see the lines of concordance but I use my cellphone to explain this)

Second: Draw the new base Pattern.
I only draw the half part of the pattern because I can use the mirror effect to make the other side.


Third: Choose the Mask and find references.
I decided make the Spider-Man Edge Of Time mask because it have a wonderful organic web design and I can't find a decent pattern, post, proportion or solution in any forum.

Ok this is the next part so: Ready, Set, GO!

Step Four: Design the pattern and draw it on the fabric.
I use a simple fabric, the Magaly Lycra, is not the best but it works fine.
The Paint can I use its a mix of Black Metallic Fabric Paint, Black Metallic Fabric Puff Paint (3D or Dimensional Paint it's same) and some of Black Liquid Latex.







I try to make a shiny web pattern, so...

Step Five: Draw and make a foam frames to the lenses.
Ok, I don't use a foam frames its only a mold. I recommend a foam with 3 mm of width.







Step Six: Make a cast of the frames, fill them with latex and paint it with Black Mate Spray.

Step Seven: Sewing the Mask and cast the frames in this.







Step Eight: Painting with Black Fabric Paint the site of the lenses on the Mask.





Step Nine: Gluing the Withe Lycra Mesh on the Frames and Gluing the eyes on the Mask.
