Michael...didn´t know that a round in the dishwasher would dull aluminium, thanks for that tip...will give it a try next time I have to weather an alu prop/ parts :thumbsup

Aye, just the standard stuff that's used to get the dishes clean.

And my TFA saber. Only weathered as long used, not as beaten up, so only buld up some grime in corners.
Also milled down the box to get the sidebars lower, as they looked to high for me:

And my DP CA Vader - still needs his nose painted silver. Additional i want to make some metal tusks to replace the resin ones that came with it.
Beautiful job! What was the trick to dulling the aluminum?

- cleaning tablets in a dishwasher.Btw. my TFA came with a wrong d-ring - any leads to the correct one tri-ring would be helpfull. Can´t find them here in Germany, maybe i just search the wrong terms, being lost in translation. :lol

To me it looks straight.
But with the limited evidence we have now, we only can hope for more and better pics to come up after the next movie.

I already had the skins:
Also a Alu-Dome (no pic atm., but i gueass everyone knows how it looks). Additional i have 2 Lazy Susans, one standard, and a extra silent one.
But still a lot that´s missing.
So i made a little shopping trip yesterday.
Some money was put in the pocket, and the Lady in the car (in fact it was her car, to get it make some miles instead her usual in town only).
After 200Km we arrived nearly in time, and after a little smalltalk we boys left the ladies and went into the basement, to look what will take home, additional to the spoken stuff. :angel
First decision, i need this boys
Cause they don´t have to go to a new home alone:
I already planned to take these, too:
The "hands" wii be sent when ready
Legs without Horseshoes are no real game.
And additional i took some small parts with me:
(not completely ready yet, but i will finish them in my shop on the lathe and with a rotary table)
And here the reason why i originalle went there, to pick this up:
And as a little goodie to please my lady (she doesn´t want R2 in the house, she wants a BB8), a BB8 Head will be delivered later, when redy printed.
After that the money in my purse was almost gone, and we drove home. :lol
In short - a really nice sunday. :cool
