Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Star Trek TNG (Small) Build.
Thanks gentlemen

----------------------------
I am still going through the Star Trek TNG Series (that 'inspired' me to build the Chess Board).
I have been 'inspired' again :lol
A recent episode I watched was 'The Inner Light', one of my favourites, when Captain Picard is forced to live a life-time in some 20 minutes through his mind being taken over by a probe. This is the episode where Picard obtains his flute. (see Post #376 in this thread).
This is the probe in question.
When Picard's 'wife' Eline approaches him at a certain point, she has a pendant, and this seems very familiar to Kamin (Picard).
So I said to myself that I'd make me a pendant like this to go with my flute
This is the original prop.
And here's my $0 dollar version.
Enter one (very) rusty bolt from the bottom of my tool box.
Cleaned.
Add one bottom part of that "Aren't I glad I didn't throw away the bottom part of the nice Disguise Jack Sparrow Compass", and some beads from ... well never mind, the Mrs. might read this :lol
Cut pieces roughly.
Some resin plaster in the middle of the bolt to hold the two beads together.
After trimming, sanding, some basic finishing touches, 2 metal rings, all stuck together.
And finished after painting
Am getting the correct ball-chain for this little baby to make it complete
