One of the items in Chakotay's (Star Trek Voyager) Medicine Bundle (yes, I'm now watching ST Voyager :lol), is his Chah-mooz-ee Stone. The symbol on the stone is an ancient healing symbol of the Rubber Tree People, whose originators he met in the Delta Quadrant eventually.


This stone is seen in many episodes of Voyager, such as "The Cloud", "Initiations", etc.

It is supposed to be a smooth river stone.

Unfortunately, there are no rivers where I come from, and the stones are not smooth :lol


BUT, since I wanted to make myself a replica of this, I didn't want to loose the 'aquatic' connection, and I also wanted the weight.


Near my house is a sweet little sea inlet, and stones / pebbles are abundant.

So I went there for a little stroll a couple of days ago, and picked me up this.

Nothing that a little sanding and filler wouldn't fix.

OK, substantial sanding :lol


Drew on the symbols, and etched them with a hobby drill.

And the final result after some painting.

Got my rings about 6 years ago, for $5 for each... That was a good offer... So the necklaces...

Now just the map and the chalices are missing... Just waiting for a good offer anywhere...

I dont think I ever can affors the dead mens chest...
