The face hugger is great in that location but a replicator bug would be better (not that you realy need ideas to get more items)

BTW, Got some slurpies from the US with the Cowboys and Aliens bracelet today. Managed to get one cup off the bracelet (I have two spares, not sure what to do with them yet). Really looks nice... Thanks for the tip!

This is NOT a Klingon Disruptor !!!

Which is what I bought and got of course :lol


(not my 2 pics of the original ..... as usual, I forgot to take 'before' pics :unsure)

So I took it totally apart .....

..... removing those obnoxious plastic pseudo beam control rods :rolleyes

Filed the edges as best I could.

Put it back together with some stuffing :lol

Enter aluminium rods and Milliput :love

Held together in place while the Milliput dries.

Sanded and ready for a total re-paint.

Now that's more like it

It works for me, and a fun little project too

The (elusive) Merlinian Dragon Ring from 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice'.

When I finish posting this, I'm going back to keep staring at it. The details on this are just stunning.

I'm in love with it

..... and I'm hiding it from the Mrs. :lol


First, a screen grab, taken at within 2 seconds when the Dragon is about to reach his fully 'crouched' position.

Now the replica.

Nowadays these crop up just as often as a 4-leaf clover.

They were produced by Disney as a promotional item, distributed only to some select and given away in a few competitions. From what I understand, the original maker was refused the licence to commercialise them.

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for one of these for quite a while, so when this popped up on eBay I grabbed it.

And I am ever so happy I did

...... and I'm still staring at it and putting it on and back in the box again and again :lol
