But someone is due an explanation first :lol

Yeah, like you I'm a sucker for the vintage Zorro and Lone Ranger crap! :lol

Please don't tell me that vintage Zorro action figures exist !

Not telling, but guesses are allowed :lol

Hint : I hate Armando (Funky Jedi) :lol

……. for putting voices into my head and giving me Zorro fever :lol !

Went off to look for vintage Zorro figures, and although I saw nothing that called my name, one thing led to another.

I ended up re-watching ‘The Mask of Zorro’ and ‘The Legend of Zorro’.

Before I knew it, I was in it up to my neck :lol

Got me something I’d been on the fence for since quite a while.


This is Weta Workshops’ Legend of Zorro statue, ‘Zorro on Tornado’, sculpted by Eden Small.

It is 22” (61 cms) tall and weighs approximately 20 lbs (9 Kilos).

I have absolutely no words to describe the details and obvious care taken to make this statue ….. so I went ballistic with my camera :lol

Take your time going through the pictures, its well worth it.

To me, this is one of the most mesmerising statues I have ever seen.

The statue is based on this iconic image of Zorro

I'd agree Tornado seems to have lost some beer belly for the sculpture sitting :lol

Otherwise, he seems to be the right overall scale

... and so long as the statue bends its hind knees a little to fit the screencap :lol

Thank you Gary. I tell you, I spent an hour yesterday looking over it yesterday, and each time I 'discover' something ...a vein on the horse, a pattern, etc etc.
