Hello to everyone. My name is Ralf and I'm new on the RPF. I'm making props and models for quite a while and want to show some of my works.

Please tell me what you think. If you're interested I'll post some wip pictures.

My most time I spent on the DL-44 and E-11 blasters but there are some more things I liked and like to do.

Beautiful work man. I've only built 1 DL-44, 1 e-11 and I not too long ago finished a jyn erso a180 blaster. Here's a comparison of mine and the screen used prop.

Now I want to show another resin kit build. The Endor Rebel proton grenade. I replaced the activation knob and two other parts with aluminium ones I made and added a pair of real denode parts. The activation knob is functional an switches on two red led lights.

The foot plate of the grenade contains four magnets, so I decided to make an acrylic display plate with an angled position.
My goodness. I've always wanted to build one of these. You have metal parts as well? I haven't found a good resin kit.

After quite a while I now want to show a project I picked up again.

My Relby K-23 Bespin blaster.

It‘s based on a real Nemrod Galeon Speargun. I made the muzzle and the barrel sleeve from aluminium, the two gears are steel ones. I added a threaded rod into the back of the barrel tube to fix the end cap with a screw.

I didn’t have the original greeblies, except some V8 parts, and getting them from shapeways, etc. was too expensive, so I made them myself from styrene.

Rufus72 , you do some clean work my friend.

I went a little further with my Cloud City blaster.

First coat of priming, and, as usual, you see where to sand again ;-)

After being satisfied with the surface, I found the left side of the blaster looking empty an missing some symmetry. So I decided to make another coffee stirrer for the left side. May be they‘ve done this on the original blaster too and it just fell off ;-)

Anyway, I‘ pleased with the result.

Then I sprayed the blaster with a anodize spray. It has the look of anodized aluminium with a nice warm silver tone. After drying came the clear coating. After drying of that I was surprised, the clear coat reacted somehow with the silver spray. It now looks like real raw cast aluminium. I really like that effect.

Next step is painting black the trigger and the grips, followed by some weathering.

I agree it looks like the stirrer might have fallen off

All my props are build by myself and most of them completely in metal. Some of the metal parts are surplus parts by very talented people around the prop community, but most of them are also made by myself. If possible, I try to find original used parts, but that's sometimes very tricky.

Thanks. I'm pleased you like it.

I use different base weapons. For my E-11 builds I use deactivated real Sterling MPs, my DL-44 are based on the Denix replica. and of course I use also airsoft guns. The DLT-12 and the A180 are based on these.

Here are my E-11 blasters
Such an amazing collection - you are a very skilled maker! What is the history on the Macrobinoculars? I am working on a pair for myself right now.

Thank you very much for your kind words.

The Binoculars are made from a resin kit by Doopydoo's from the UK. Even it's a quite good kit, I refined some details and added real glass lenses which were several leftovers from different scopes I used otherwise. I'll post some pics of it tomorrow.

As promised, here are some pics of the Binoculars.

Even it‘ not really screen accurate it‘s a nice replica for an affordable price. But, to be honest, it didn’t stop me from grabbing one of Odiwan72‘s superb replicas of this thing. I‘ll also post it when I will start the build.

But here the actual Binoculars.
