It would, you just have to sand off the silver paint on the flat side
Looks brilliant, I'm sure tennant would be proud, if only I managed to do this with one of the 5 I broke in less than a space of 2 months...............Handle was repainted after a bit more filling was done to accomodate a change to the switch , still got a few things to do the main thing i could do with help on is how to secure the top collar so it is removable to change the battries ect otherwise il have to just epoxy it on.
Little teaser litterally held together

Um I did it easily with scissors have you another toy because if you just push it up with a blade of scissors it easily comes of I did it sucessfully in 5 seconds with all of my failed attempt modded tens sonics, also do you wants some photos of the prop, if so tell me which one and if you do the collar thing in which I just described then add it to the handle
Oh yeah the ones with the classic sounds have really stuck caps, I'm Sure you could get one of those of another person, I bought one for 40 quid, ridiculous price but the wave one release of the tennant has a loose cap, cause around 3-4 of mine were wave one releases and they worked perfectlyThe newer releases have that cap glued down pretty solid , I had to cut it off when I shortened the handle down to the correct size anyway, Its getting it back on that im struggling with as the handle is now the same width as the cap so no slot for it to attach to , I could probably glue it down but would risk getting it on the clear section and not being able to change the batteries.

Aaaah, Makes sense.Yeah I have a couple of those but have no way of attaching the cap to the body , the body has been cut down to the correct size so dosnt have the ridge for the cap , Il post a pic later
looking at your photo I can see the slider is clearly tennants and you opened the tube so have you painted it yellow?Handle was repainted after a bit more filling was done to accomodate a change to the switch , still got a few things to do the main thing i could do with help on is how to secure the top collar so it is removable to change the battries ect otherwise il have to just epoxy it on.

If you have bravo!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you not tried just taking the whole thing of by cutting it open with a knife then painting the really small wiresI made the slider plate to be like tennants out of a piece of plastic and the old switch![]()
I was looking to paint the fake wire in the tube yellow but on another one I had it broke the end ( in an earlier post there is a pic ) so didnt take the risk with this one as its the earlier version with the right sound effects.

I dont know what you mean , if you cut it open you would have to re-solder the wires and they are really ****ty wires to solder lol , Plus would have to glue its back together and to me its just not worth it ...Yet![]()
