The "vents" on the masks came from -vintage- safety goggles...have a few of those for my own build

Hey Odi welcome to the party. The clear parts on my build are from a pair of goggles. I have a new set arriving today that hopefully are more clear. Can you share a picture of the vintage vents you found? That would put it to bed.

No evidence that I’ve found for a tape measure clip. It’s just what I had around. The lever wouldn’t work in my opinion.

Ordered 2 of the hoses from dotmed yesterday morning and they’ve already shipped. Thanks for the tip guys! Once I start ACTUALLY modeling/building, I’ll post pics. Love everyone else’s progress so far!

Thanks Odi. Those are spot on. Any extras you can sell me for a mold up for the community?
On second thought molding those would be really tough with all the openings. Hmmm. Perhaps we can get them designed for a clear resin print.
There‘s no need to mold them, since safety goggles with these vents are still available (check the link I posted for an example). Just make sure that the goggles are exactly as pictured in the webshop...took me several tries to find a shop, that had them exactly as advertised

Well there’s the rub. I’ve order 10 or so sets and no luck with a match. I misunderstood your original post then because I assumed the ones pictures were from vintage goggles.
Appreciate the clarification. Since I can’t read German does the company you linked ship to the US? Is this the exact piece you ordered?

I purchased mine from a private seller...new old stock, so maybe not vintage but at least not new either LOL

Thanks Odi. I’ve searched and searched and searched and have never seen the vents as you have them in the German site items. After 10 years of looking at goggle vents I’m exhausted. Lol. Maybe we can get a German order doing because I have never seen those vents on any pair I could order.

Problem with that one is that its "For trade customers only". Im thinking you need a German resell cert or some other such.
