Netflix sandman props

Really happy with the way the Helm’s turning out so far. It does look a little lop sided but nothing a little heat forming can’t fix! Doing all the sanding and details another day, I’m going for comic book accuracy with this one but I may take a little inspiration from the show version when it comes to painting. Idk yet

Here are some detailed pics! I’m gonna be doing a lot of filling in and sanding, and like I said, I still need to add all the details. But so far it’s coming along great

Did you glue in the temporary strip inside to hold the shape?

I had problems with the back flattening out similar to how yours did.

Alright here’s my progress so far, finished most of the detail pieces and I modified the foam on the back of the head where the foam is. My foam clay should be arriving soon so I’ll start filling in and molding. All I really have left to do is put the rest of the rivets on, create the bone spin that sticks out the front, mold with foam clay, add texture, and paint and then it should be finished!

anyone know how the "fleshy" bits on the helmet could be achieved? Im at that stage in mine (see first page) and kind of stuck...any ideas?
