New Predator sculpt

Hi all.

i have decided to sculpt my own pred head. seeing as there are already P1, P2 and wolf masks out there, i thought i would have a go at Scar.

this is still in the early stages so dont expect much but i will be updating with photos often (i always take photos as i work through a sculpt as it helps spot inaccuracies that your eyes miss)

anyhow, heres the first pics, just laying down the basic form. I need to build up the back of the head but i have ran out of clay, have to wait till friday to get some more.

Im sure itll be as good as your Ironman sculpt buddy.

and ill try to keep my hatred of scar to myself

looking great so far! lol.. reminds of a granny laughing without her dentures in this stage!! lol. I love it!!!! Cant wait to see the final product, I'm sure it will look brilliant

Im planning too but ill have to ask my fellow brummie friend on how they did it on their wolf mask?

I know in priciple but i havent cast in latex before so im concerned about shinkage and alignment

hi guys and gals.

im getting more clay today!!!!!!!!!!! Im eargerly waiting for the courier to drop them off and then ill be able to carry on. its frustrating the hell out of me at the moment because i want to get cracking on this and i have to look at his gummy face every time i got into the garage and i just wat to "tweek that" or "add here" and i cant because i have no clay!

im hoping to have the form down by the end of the weekend, damn, if i get my arse in gear and the missus can resist the urge to drag my ass round the shops all saturday ill hve it finished by sunday!

I'll run through it with you when i drop off the Wolf.

I'ts pretty easy mate, you shouldn't have a problem with the casting with what you've done in the past

just remember to sculpt it bigger than what you want it to be so it does not shrink down to much.

check the neck measurement is about 1 1/2 inch bigger than what it need to be so it closes up when you put it on.

I love this clay. its about as firm as chavant soft but its alittle easyier to work with. only down side is it doesnt melt well imo.

gotta go, garage is calling me, (dont tell work i scieved off 1 1/2 early)
