Personally think it looks real good, with the mandibles coming just past the chin itll look spot on.

I'm still not sure mate. I've been flipping through the old adi book and if you take a peep at page 62 I think there's a pic of them doing a snap mold of the undermask and you can see how far the lower portion of the jaw comes out. As for reference pics if I get a chance I'll dig out some of the high def stuff i've accrued and send them your way. I think I've got some directly off the set too lying around too.

I have to disagree Mav , as you say thats a undermask, and to me the chin looks to have been extended, maybe for securing to the bio.

i was going by the pic on page 39, which is a full head , which is what is being sculpted.

again only my opinion.

undermask always have the extended chin so the bio will stay on better

I'm not slagging Fettster's work here, on the contrary. The pics I've been lookingat are of Bruce Spaulding Fuller actually sculpting the scar head, and the one in the book of the snap mould. It just appears that there's a good fingers worth of gap in the space between the back of the throat and the inside of the lower jaw.

its hard to judge the chin at the moment as it doesnt have teeth of manibles yet.
