remember to add the vat......

Website looks superb, and the helmets are spot on, the base is a great idea :)

one thing i noticed is even though the cyberman is from the same molds, same hands made em, same process etc, they are missing any sign of weathering as the ones in the show had.

That's because they have a real metal surface which can tarnish and will weather differently for each helmet depending on how well you protect it. I'm sure if you treated it as badly as a film crew it would look just as weathered but the sales pic is of a well polished helmet.

I know someone who will certainly be interested in the clockwork droid mask, although she was all set to sculpt her own.

looks like ill be sticking to the voice changer that is just way too much even if its from the moulds of the show, love the mount think very cool design too bad these are just display pieces tho

Heres a brief comparrision of the NSC (screen helmet) and NSC (voicechanger) also my Tomb Cyber-helmet...

LOL

A small tip...there are two price points for non-European Union buyers and those residing in the EU. (I usually stick to my British roots on this over that old argument, but when it come to saving money, every little bit helps.)

Anyone in the EU will have to calculate their cost for items bought inclusive of VAT.

Anyone outside gets those same things exclusive of VAT. That's why you'll often see the two figures on European online stores.

This really helps out when making purchases from UK sites, for example. And for some items it more than offsets the cost of postage to overseas desinations.

Off course, not all companies tell you about this or are willing to give up that VAT charge and that's when you lose and they win. So it's nice to see a start-up in this line of business doing the right thing.

A 560 quid helmet plus VAT works out to about US$1,046...at 475 pounds excluding VAT that's US$888...

And at those prices let's hope British workmanship gets a good showing.

Cheers

to me the voice changer looks more closer to what we see on the show, albeit the 500+ ones do look bloody good with the metal casting

Actually theres a lot more than meets the eye thats inaccurate about the voice changer (and I've got one). :unsure

Look at the face.... Its to long i the Voice Changer

Look at the mouth.... Its to low down on the VC

Look at the cheeks.... They don't curve in enough on the VC

Look at the eyes..... They're too small on the VC

Look at the lower face.... Its to square in the VC

That fact that this prop is made by MFX is only a side issue to me. As a perfectist this is the bees knees, it can't get better :eek

I think SPDOmegaranger is refering to the lack of a sheen rather than specific details. As I understood it the voice changer was created from half an original and then mirrored. They then went on to modify other areas such as the forehead.

If that bit of information is true... How come the above points I made are not more accurate... The proportions are wrong... The character is lost???
