Optimus Prime Costume (old cartoon version)

This is a costume I commissioned for a company for the 1st transformer movie gala in 2007. This is a transformable costume.... but I guess the costumer will not want to do that too much.. it is very restricting and stressful to the human body in the trailer mode. =P The costumer cannot transform by himself though, someone has to help him.

Old school stuff brings back childhood memory...perharps that's why I choose not to make the movie version.

Optimus: It is great effort never-the-less =) Just by attempting it is already a big step ahead =)

It is actually a hybrid of the 1st cartoon version and G1....not exactly a perfect G1 =)

do you have a vid of the transformation process?

I am afraid not.... the process is not very pleasant to watch because some parts have to be disassembled from the main body and put on after the costumer stands up.
