Project Run Description
We did a limited run for ANH true historically accurate body detail 'A' components.
If you are an AstroDroid builder and have with the "Octagon Ports" fabricated in aluminum or 3DPrinted this upgrade kit gives the opportunity to bring the detail into spec with the original 1976 units as they looked in 1976.
The kit consists of turned Aluminum "Stacked Discs" with evenly spaced concentric diameters.
The concentric spacing appears on the Body blueprints and how they appear in photos of the 1976 units in 1976.
The kit also includes dry transfer tape for the "Vents"
The original units in 1976 did not have physical cut outs but had dry transfer tape.
The transfer tape include locating markings to center and align the tape, or they can be applied asymmetrically to be truly historically accurate.
Optionally the kit can include an aluminum octagon backing plate to cover exiting physical cutouts or to have true aluminum on a 3DPrinted assembly.

Due to extremely low volume the shipping is additional at actual cost.
The "Stacked Discs" and "Dry Transfer" combination is $40 EA.
The optional "Octagon Backing Plates" are an additional $10 EA.
