Return of the jedi e11

New Member
Looking for some help as im very new to all of this. I recently stumbled upon a mgc sterling and am looking to turn it into a rotj e11, i have had some luck finding parts for it but am stuck with some others. was hoping someone can point me in the direction or suggest a way to get them made. the items in question are the u channels, the scope rail and the rear sight. i know its a long shot but thinking of getting them 3d printed in steel if anyone has suggestions for that, any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Excellent score on an MGC Sterling!

If you could post pics of the parts you’re looking for I bet someone can assist with good sources to locate them.

yea i messaged him but it says hes been inactive since 2023 so idk
 
I hope you can find all the parts you need.
I wouldn't say you bit more than you can chew for a first project, it's lucky that you found an MGC, you just need to source the parts and the project should be ok.
If you can't find a solution for the rail, I have already machined one in aluminium, but that is 75€ + shipping.

I was on the run and received the scope rail in Jan 2023 but never used it. I’d sell you the piece for the price I paid ($100) plus shipping if you need it. I also might still have a real RO72 rear sight base if you are interested but I’ll have to hunt through my stuff to find it. Let me know if you are interested and I’ll find em and send you a pic.

Ooohhh boy….. now you’re just twisting my arm to start collecting pieces
 
the last thing im gonna need is u channels if anyone knows where to get them or if anyone makes them it would be much appreciated
