Roboman Helmet

Next build (event though Dalek not finished yet) is going to be a Roboman helmet from Daleks Invasion Earth 2150AD. Always loved that film.

I've sourced a 1960's motorbike helmet (waiting for it to arrive).

Not too many pics in detail of Robomenon the net. The main thing I'm trying to figure out is the "radio link" on the side of the helmet.
I think (dont know why?) it's an old central heating room thermostat.
If I cant find out what it is, I'll just have to make one

I recently Met Bernard and Roberta who played in the film like you I have always wanted to see what it would look like! The costume itself including helmet was motorcycle however the radio link could be a retro walkie talkie with fitted LED light?

I have included a link to a helmet which looks kind of indentical?

Thanks Matt, Helmet arrived. Trying to source some 1960's safety glasses or goggles which match
the ones on the helmet.
