At the end of the month (end of this week), DaddyfromNaboo is stepping down from his long time position as a member of the RPF Staff. Michael has been serving this community diligently for quite a few years and we really appreciate all he has done to help maintain order here on the site.
With Michael's departure, our staff is down to Montagar and I. As most of you know, I don't handle many of the day to day moderation duties but Michael and Montagar have done such an amazing job that we haven't needed as much "moderation" as was needed in the past. We are continuing on with this trend of minimal moderation with a greater focus on using the RPF Staff to champion the different sections of our site.
With that in mind we are bringing in Vivek as our first "Forum Leader" to oversee the Entertainment and Movie Forum due to his deep passion for film and all things relating to the entertainment world. Unlike moderators in the past, who's primary role was to enforce the Member Guidelines, a Forum Leader's primary role is to stimulate conversation within the forum(s) they oversee and help guide the threads in a more logical way.
So, we want to thank DaddyfromNaboo for all the work he has done and Vivek for all the work he will do!
