Just an update, Star Wares told me that the patches on all their suits are from production, so they say some were made this way, and also, they are all in the same position they were at the time of production.

That is great news. I would print out their email and keep it with their COA for documentaion purposes. :thumbsup

Good news then. I still find it odd that thats the way they attached some of the patches. It also looks like the shoulder patch is missing.

So I got the suit today, and ACTUALLY, the patch is safety pinned to the jumpsuit! If you look carefully, you can see the pin through the middle of the patch in the pics.

I dunno, if Star Wares says this is the way it got the suit, then I am inclined to believe them. Obviously a "hero" suit would have been a little cooler, but I saw one of those go for $400 at auction, and this one...didn't.

I honestly believe it makes sense that some background suits were put together quickly, while the hero patches were sewn. On closer inspection of the patch, its almost as if the grey portion is "scrap" around the patch that could be cut if one were inclined to do so. Its possible that this was a rush job.

And great idea MF, I will keep the emails! :thumbsup
