I cut the crystal chamber aperture and started filing and sanding the edges. I'm researching what components I want for the kyber crystal and the rest for the chamber.
Those are some classy sabers. I WISH I had that type of skill.Hey Saberfans. Finished another custom design. Scratch built by hand and machine. All the usual brass and ally detail, quick release chassis with dual crystal chamber and twist kill switch on pommel.
NPXL blade and accents, GHv3 with usb-c data/charging, 21700, 24mm bass speaker.
Thanks for looking, hope you like it.

That thing is incredible! I've always wanted to do this same thing! Did you use a template to cut the graflex top?A Starkiller inspired hilt made from a vintage Canon Y & Graflex 2.0. Happy with how it turned out.

Never understood why no one has done a run of Canon Y replicas. There seems to be appetite for it since so many are used in builds.A Starkiller inspired hilt made from a vintage Canon Y & Graflex 2.0. Happy with how it turned out.
Man, the switch box for the canon y is so beautiful that i would only buy that flash just for the switch box. hahaNever understood why no one has done a run of Canon Y replicas. There seems to be appetite for it since so many are used in builds.
Very cool. A lot happening on the hilt. Kind of a scrapflex meets MPP. What did you make the blade holder out of? It almost looks like flower petals opening.I can't remember which vintage was this, but yeah, converted vintage camera. Most of original camera parts were used with addition of two wannawanga MPP shroud.
Its one of the parts from the vintage camera, heavily modded to fit 7/8 inch blade, fitted into the chasis, IIRC, its a more standard martin beyer graflex chasis.Very cool. Nice! I've always thought about using the LGT clamp. What did you do to shim it and secure it?Here are a couple of mine. The first is the Annie3 I built from TCSS hilt parts, an LGT clamp and a Saberbay Golden Harvest chassis.
The other one is a kit bashed Vader from ANH. It made from a Romans hilt tube assembly, Wanna Wanga emitter shroud, TCSS MPP clamp and tracks. The chassis is printed from RJT custom sabers and I installed it with a Golden Harvest sound board and a Smugglers Outpost Darkside 28mm speaker. It's really loud.
