sideshow lifesize C3P0 and R2 assembly video

Don certainly convinced me to "dirty up" my R2s. Although the clean one was nice to look at, the dirty versions do look more authentic! Plus I dont have to worry about kids touching him. What's some extra dirt on top of what he already has. I know guys with pristine R2s that will not let anyone touch them, let alone strange kids with oreo fingers. What fun is that??

Thanks Don for helping me to "see the light". :)

I was thinking about getting an R-2 untill Fred showed his Arse about Robby.

I'll pass. :unsure

I still say for something that sits in the corner it's very expensive. But...having said that...and you want instant gratification....that's the way to go. Accurate R2's don't come along very often unless someone is having a fire sale on the r2 boards.

So congrats to that dude. He seems to like it, and that's all that really matters.

Actually, that's not all that matters. I know of at least one licensee who couldn't produce a full-size R2 that would've been cheaper, more functional, and completely accurate because of Sideshow's project. Collectors were simply robbed of a better value and better product.
