I have purchased several Sideshow PFs over the years and have only had one problem, which they corrected just fine. Bummer to hear you are having these problems.

Figures are one thing, customers had many issues when it comes to more complexe props, not that the Speeder bike is complex so it's a shocker to me that they can't get it right, Anyways I'm getting a refund from SS and hopefully the 3rd one will be fine, I just want this piece badly, it's very impressive in person.

Really? I would think that you are the minority here. All the purchases from MR that Ive had those pieces were fine. Phasers, Falcon, ATAT, Blasters oh my. Even my ROTS Vader helmet was fine. Hmmm.

This was my very first Sideshow purchase, I wasn't into Sideshow stuff before they offered the Speeder bike. I won't buy anything else from them unless I see the piece first hand in a store.

What are the chances of getting 2 flawed speeders, their must be a big quality control issue, I'm getting a 3rd from a different source, I will post when I get it Monday.

I'm sure many customers don't even bother to report the problems or don't notice them at all, most can't distinguish vonluntary weathering from actual product defects.

I know another guy with a damaged speeder bike. Same deal, smash it with a hammer, take pics and we'll send you a replacement.

His vanes in front are damaged, and I guess there's some "bubbles" in the paint. I haven't seen it in person.

He's returning it for a refund.

All companies have quality issues it's how they deal with the customer that matters.

I agree completely. I have had issues with Sideshow products arriving damaged or with paint flaws in the past, but they have always had great customer service with me, and made sure I was satisfied with replacements or a refund.

Scuffed paint, poorly botched over repair jobs, wonky dome mounts to name a few.

And I was thinking to get a Vader helmet in a few months...thumbsdown Hope at least eFX Stormie helmet will be ok. Was at least the MR Stormie helmet good? :confused

Received my 3rd Speeder bike after returning the first 2 to Sideshow, I'm satisfied with this one and can finally enjoy this piece, it's almost perfect, got it off ebay for $100 cheaper.

If you wanna run a scam on them you could take a few dozen extra pix in different rooms with different lighting, making sure to mix the parts around. Smashing them a bit more each time, and see that the camera isn't displaying the date in the pix.

Send seperate 'room sets off to persons who can then file a complaint and forward SS copies of the destruct pix and keep/sell the freebie.

What was I saying the other day about ignoring the evil voices in my head?

If anyone else needs to bust up there bike and throw it away...do it in a few big pieces and then send it to me:rolleyes Nothing some glue and bondo will not fix.
