I lightly weathered the Mylar tape but I agree, not nearly enough.

A couple deliberate cuts with an Xacto and quick rub downs with various grits of steel wool and the Mylar band is weathered where I want it.

Seem to have missed it, what are the little black screws in the grips. Need for a Vader ESB and not sure where to find. Thanks!

Thanks for the compliment.
The black screws were in a bag of various screws I picked up at an antique store that appeared to match the screen used saber's screws.
They have a very low-profile head and tap out as 2-56 size screws.

I do have one final question....
Are we sure that the brass screws securing the Kobold clip to the GRAFLEX are not round head vs. flat head screws?
Here is my replica with flat head screws:
And here is the original...am I the only one seeing round head brass screws here? The highlights on the screws have a "dome" shape to them that are not seen on flat head screws and usually indicative of round head screws.
Opinions?

So I've always seen domed screws too. They also happen to be identical in size to the one in the lever, so I just used those.
First glance they look round to me but... it looks like they could be two different screws to me as well, the top one flat and the bottom one round but that doesn't really make any sense. I never try to exclude anything from the starwars prop universe though.
