Question Space bar not working

Glad its not just been me. At first I was ready to pop the space bar off the keyboard and try and figure out why it wasn't working. Glad I didn't do that.

I upgraded Chrome to Version 54.0.2840.87 (64-bit), and I'm still having the same problem.

Hmmm. .87 seems to have fixed it for me.

Updating is being reported as the fix, but if for some reason you are still having the problem, one work-around is to hit Enter a few times and then move up to the previous line. The no-spacebar issue only seems to effect the very last line of your text, by hitting enter and then going back up, you are no longer typing on the last line. Mike J. can you check and see if this solution works for you?

Just tested myself, and that workaround does work. Hit enter, arrow up and bingo.

Im having the issue too, I upgraded it but it still is a problem. Glad Im not the only one haha.

I'm having the same issue, at least with PMs. Current Chrome version 54.0.2840.99. The solution I've used is to hit ctrl+v (paste) and then ctrl+z (undo). A workaround that works for me, still annoying tohaveeverythinglooklikethisatfirst.

It's happening to me here, and I just noticed it's also happening on Chrome in Gmail. If I have a paragraph return after the line where I'm typing, it's fine, but if I'm typing on the very last line in the email, the space bar doesn't work. I'm using version 54.0.2840.99 m.

Bit of an odd one this, I can put a space as the very first thing I do, but after that, it wont let me use spaces.

I am on chrome, as you can see this does not affect me on the rest of the site, and it seems to be a relatively new thing, since I used to be able to send messages just fine.

I know the issue also arises on RebelScum, and they said it was an issue with the forum software.
