Spaceship from Concept Art -WIP Scratch Build- w/FINAL PHOTOS

Appreciate your concern Cosmic- The model... with its height and width... is the largest I'll ever produce.
The next model will definitely be smaller, but first, I am certainly taking several months modeling break.

Clean-up, supplies inventory evaluation/replenishment, and storage adjustments are the current priority.
Next project research too....

I'm so sorry to come up too late. I changed the internet provider at the end of September, and it took so long to recover the previous setting. Also, I forgot to log in to RPF again. My apologies.

The finished model is marvelous.
It is one of the best full-scratch models I've ever seen in this forum. Congratulations. Your enthusiasm and effort poured into this model paid off.

Yes katsu it was Milton. The eye of the Cat 3 hurricane passed directly over our homes. Over 100 mph winds. Our homes are still in one piece with no serious damage and there was no flooding in our particular area. Of course we will not have power for many days but all are safe. Thanks for you concern.

Glad that you and your family/property is o.k.(y)(y) That was a heck of a hurricane + twisters:eek::eek:

I'm so relieved to hear that! Good god!
Milton's situation has been reported every day here. It was Cat 5 initially but came down to Cat 3, but it's still so heavy. I experienced the fear of typhoons here a couple of years back. You will have some inconvenience some following days but please keep it up.

All the best,
katsu

Russ, sorry to disappoint, but this is from my first post in this thread:

As far as a definitive "scale", I have no idea. :(

Wish I could help. Perhaps some scale experts on RPF will chime in here....

Good gravy... Thank you Carl. One of the very first things I should've seen. My wife thinks I never open my eyes, lol. Thank you for your reply

We had a discussion about scale and, reading it, you see that's always a difficult calculation. Especially from a drawing/painting.
