Spear of Destiny???

I've thought time and time again about offering an all metal kit version of the spear of destiny.

One day...

Tangent: I added a mislabelled "Spear of Density" to Warehouse 23. It is too heavy to be picked up, seems to be made of solid Neutronium, and somehow manages to not blow through the bottom of the crate and the crates underneath... *chuckle*

Still haven't added one of these to the collection but I see that Museum Replicas carries em now. Anyone know if they are worth a damn?

The Museum Replicas version is a Made-in-India replica. It's very clean, but the details are wrong in many respects. This is the same one offered by the Bronze Armory. Here are a few of the boo-boos:

Text on gold sleeve is engraved instead of raised and is the wrong font
Wire plaiting are heavily simplified
Spear shaft does not extend under gold sleeve
Gold wires on "wings" should not be there
Too small over all

I've had one of these in my hands and overall it's a nice piece, but for those interested in all the little nuances, you'll appreciate my latest version:

The one used in Constantine is not a bad looking piece on its own, but not very accurate to the original. It seems to be more of an "inspired by" type prop.
