Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

Dedra is not a seasoned isb person whos done this all her life. This was new reality to the ambitious young nazi startup.

Whether or not she finds great success in the empire or gets Andored in the next block of eps, shes had her hand in sparking up the galactic civil war.

Good or not might depend on if they took any good lessons from Andor, Gilroy and Co (imo) lol
Eh... IMO it's all SW. The stories might be in different forms, different media, different genres, but it's SW.

I don't want any of the 'Tales of...' stores to feel/look like ANDOR, & I don't want ANDOR to look/feel like the OT, etc. Sure I want the trappings of this universe to be pervasive throughout the content, but they don't have to be exact.

For example, The Force has been front & center throughout almost ALL SW content, & even shoehorned into some of it, but here in ANDOR, The Force has been guiding Cassian throughout, but because he's a sceptic like Han Solo, it wasn't recognized until Bix took him to the Force Healer, & it seems that it took him a couple more years to realize it. She was such a believer that she KNEW he had to stay in the Rebellion in order to be where he was being guided to, & if she stayed, he'd have left to be with her.

One hundred percent how we see The Force work in the other stories, but just from a different perspective.

So yeah... Give me the universe, but let the stories evolve to fit the genre it's being told in.

I agree but my gist is that filoni and co needs to up their game i think (at least just a smidge).
I was kinda commenting sideways on the quality of their stuff.
...or "content" if we must....

And that "star wars took up ten years of my life" was also said by George soon after Return Of The Jedi's release elzoelz

Yeah, interesting way to leave things on, but totally makes sense. I have so much to process.

A couple quick thoughts:

I had initially wanted to see a massive comeuppance where she goes out in a blaze of glory, or strangled by Vader, or something like that. But to see the price of her ambitious miscalculations is to simply fade away into obscurity in the prisons...wow...so much more fitting. And so much more satisfying, in a lot of ways.

I think the end really dwelt a lot on Kleya wandering around because she's got a bit of an identity crisis now. With Luthen gone and her tiny little world in that shop taken away, she's got to figure out who she is. I'd love to see more of what happens next for her.

I'm really glad the show ended on Bix with the baby. We all know how it's going to end for Andor in a few days, so to do this ends this show on a slightly more hopeful note: that the next young Andor will grow up in a galaxy that has been freed of tyranny, thanks to his father. It feels very "Star Warsy" in that way.

I loved that we got a bit more of Saw this season, so that we could see how extremism can crop up anywhere. He's there to show us how life really gives us gray areas to work within. Makes the soon-to-be Alliance more realistic.

Krennic was given some great opportunities in this show, if not for character development, at least for presence. I think this helps make him to be a far better villain in Rogue One, where he previously seemed more bumbling.

More to process, but first I want to rewatch Rogue One, 'cause the setup was perfect!

Well that was a great way to start my Wednesday off with !

I couldn't help myself and binged all three after planning on spacing them out.

No spoilers but your in for a ride with the last three.
As others have said so much to process then re process.
I will certainly be watching it again on the projector tonight.
And to echo the thoughts of others "What a blooming great show" the cast the sets the gorgeous score the direction oh not to forget all those lovely props..

Whatever happened to Luthen's ship?

When Kleya activated her radio device, I thought for half a second that she was going to use that to call on the ship remotely to get it to fly her out of there.

Impounded and probably taken down to the nuts and bolts looking for any evidence. I wonder if the droid brain has a failsafe to wipe any sensitive info from its database? Knowing Luthen, I would guess it does.
