Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

Not that Star Trek isn't equally guilty...

Remember, there are two factions within Lucasfilm right now. This can be seen just by looking at the credits.

Acolyte was the Kathleen Kennedy faction's product, and Skeleton Crew will be Jon Favreau's. Not saying his content is the greatest or anything, but I do think we'll get something much better from his team.

I don't get any feel or vibe of Star Wars here from the trailer, other then the name and references but I think that would be the idea going forward, whereby they would be more successful in their storytelling. Honestly, from a marketing standpoint, this could have been a more inviting way for them to have started out, distancing themselves from the Skywalker era and could have avoided the scrutiny of the present. ( Obviously, only viewing a trailer which isn't that reliable to base my opinion on...just a thought in my head )

i just saw the trailer to this, and i instantly got vibes of a show i used to watch as kid in the 90s called Aquila

about two boys, who find a strange alien space ship, the titular Aquila, buried underground
and get it working and go off on adventures,

i obsessed after this show, and hadnt thought about it in years, until i saw the skeleton crew trailer,
and like turning on a light switch
it just crazily reminded me of this,
i so wanted to build my own life size version, and pretend i was cruisin around the galaxy :rolleyes:
