That is a TE kit with a sandy knee plate 100% positive :)

That explains it. I didn't know the Sandtroopers had a different knee plate.

I got a Follano and a SheppertonDS suit and a SDS hero and stunt bucket.  The GF cost more - the SDS is a better colour and has good rigging underneath using clips and is a perfect match with their helmets.  Some parts are a little rough though and could have been finished a little better on some edges but its thicker than the GF.

I think you got to pay as mutch as you can afford - dont scrimp or you`ll regret it - I`d rather save and try for the best I can find than go for one with know serious issues of size or what not.

Hi Hanjob,

If you have any good pictures of your SDS and GF next to each other there is an ongoing thread looking for comparison information http://www.rpf.invisionzone.com/index.php?...topic=98991&hl=

Feel free to post pics and join in this discussion. You appear to be the only person on the boards who has both types of armour in hand.

Cheers Chris.

The AP is very nice. Haven't built it yet but everything is complete and you won't be sorry.

I just sent out my deposit for my first AP kit. While I wait patiently in the production queue, I keep seeing red "Magma" and black "Stealth" trooper armor here and there. I assume that these are styles from the "Expanded Universe", e.i. the novels, etc.

1. What's the best technical/pictoral reference for expanded universe items like those?

2. Who has well made red and black armor kits available? I just missed out on a black trooper kit that SithArmor was selling, and I haven't seen any red kits at all, just the occasional picture of a trooper with their own set.

3. Who are the best sources for biker scout armor?
