TechShop- Any users here?

A new TechShop open here in Austin a couple months ago and I'm dying to learn more about the general experience people have had with it. It looks like a great idea and am super excited to finally have one in my backyard.

TechShop is America's 1st Nationwide Open-Access Public Workshop -- What Do You Want To Make at TechShop?

Anybody tried the service out yet? Reviews?

I was a member of TS:RDU back when the shop first started. If you can afford the fairly steep membership fees, its worth every penny. The community atmosphere, access to $$$$ tools, and the space to work make it an awesome place to create.

I have rented empty shop space before and the membership fees are around what I was paying in rent. So I was all set to join the one in Orlando until the plans for it fell through.
