I'm just blown away by how awesome this came out Jim!

Here's the helmet with the Russian gas mask hose connected. I used a piece of 1" PVC with a cut down one side as a coupler. Will probably attach it permanently to the helmet. At the other end, the hose is just friction fits into a hole i drilled into the central chest box.

Thought I would share, if you would like to get the correct screen used gloves, they are called British Army Issue Camo MTP desert combat gloves

As you can see they are Camo and require dying. To do this you just need to is scrub them with acetone then use 4 coats of fiebing's black acrylic leather dye then a few coats of fiebing's acrylic Resolene dye finish sealer black, the below is not my image but that is the outcome. I'm still awaiting the shipment of my Dye.

You could also use the dye on your boots to get them shiny and new..
