The Grand Budapest Hotel Props

I also wanted your advice on something; a friend stitched by hand the Lobby Boy lettering for my hat, I actually quite like the hand generated aspect of it, but it's quite far off when compared to the screen accurate one, so I was wondering if I should finish that hat or maybe try to ask someone else to make it with a machine instead?

I had the same problem with mine when I picked it up - it wasn't at all what I had in mind. I decided to finish it but I'm looking for another person to do it (machine)
Your's is not bad at all. The stich is good but because it was handmade is too irregular. The machine would make it more straight. If you can fin someone else to machine do it and it's not too expensive go ahead if not finish the hat the way it is. :thumbsup

After my first attempt that went, well....ehh. I’m much more pleased with my second try.

Lots of little air bubbles and the blue piping could be better. I thinned out my “frosting” a little too much. Other than those issues, I’m happy.

I should have some more cool items to post this week. Stay safe everyone(y)

Instead of posting in two different threads I’ll just post here.
