The ULTIMATE Freddy mask

dude i want one so bad,its not even funny, not that i could ever buy that, lol, maybe someday there will be more made???

I know this is an old thread... almost dead and burried...
But, I think I've found one of these rare Freddy masks on ebay
a month or so back:

Freddy_ultimate_web.jpg

It's made from silicone, it is SO looking like the Freddy from the movies,
awesome details, moves perfectly with any face movement, cast all the way down to the chest...
It just makes you wanna run away screaming for someone to wake you up.

Oh yeah... it's now in my collection btw :p
(nevermind the watermark, just so I know when my pic's used elsewhere
and I didn't want it to cover the entire image...ruins the pic if it would)

no kidding.

what a find.

id like to know what you got it for as they were originally a pretty penny.

either way your lucky to come across one at any price, and thats sad, like bowelrock said... they shoulda made more of em. :(

Does anyone know what kind of problems might have came up with things like the eyes and mouth not lining up right on the customer's face?

I'd be tempted to try something like this, but...

I have one and it just molds to the wearers face. Looks good on everyone I've seen wear it.

Here I am with Robert Englund:

He wanted to know how long I spent in the makeup chair, lol.

i made my own freddy mask from scratch.

i found one of those boxed kits that had the clear plastic mold straight from the actors face, with the freddy look.

it had foam pieces, i threw them in the trash,

i got liquid latex, and hand made a complete full head mask, with a neck that would run down far enough to go under the shirt.

i made a seperate face section, that i spiritgummed in place.

the chin was molded into the hood part of the main mask.

think of a divers hood, that the way i designed it, then a face piece glued on.

i used red thick stage blood to layer in the groove/convolutions,

then used a semi gloss clear latex coating over the entire outer surface.

it wasnt split up the back like a store mask is.

i installed a piece of velcro to the back of the neck, once the hood was pulled over and in place, i then sinced up the velcro in back, which pulled up all the floppy loose front neck section up to my throat.

then spiritgummed the face section on. used a lil color makeup stuff to blend in the masks edges to hide them, around my eyes and mouth and chin as well.

for the ears, i had a simple way to do it, in the right spots, i just made a small slit the right directions, and would reach in and grab the top tips of my ears and pull them out to the right amount.

the end look was it looked like my ears were melted into the sides of my head, kinda like freddys was.

unfortunately, i dont have any way to get a pic of it online, as i only have a polaroid pic, and my friend has it.

i did a similar mask for my son for halloween one year too.

a skull mask, so i did up a mummy style costume, with the latex skull in 2 parts on his face.

he won 3rd place in a contest, with over 150 kids tryin to win.

id say, that aint too bad. it did look cool, as i told him to ham it up and drag the one foot, and moan.

audience loved it.

Lucky for me it was offered with a 'buy now' option so I bought it for the general price of an SPFX mask.
The only thing missing to complete my Krueger costume, was a decent mask, so now I'm all set...
