I was able to obtain 10 kits to offer as an "exclusive" sneak preview from Fenix Props. Ordering by PM. I am keeping 1 kit for me.

I'll be starting a new thread about my in-progress X-wing Pilot Helmet flight bag.
I decided i needed a bag to cart around my helmet, and why wouldn't the x-wing flight crews have had a helmet bag? I have not seen one in orange in the real world, so i decided to deconstruct one of my other flight bags and create some patterns and make my own.. with a couple added greeblies for galactic accuracy, and some flair.

Cant find any in stock anywhere. So making my own. I know of them listed at one whole place but they have been ouf of stock for a while now. And by a while i mean a year or 2 that i have actually looked. None of my flight buddies have seen or have one either. They like to make them in a dozen other colors and several patterns but orange must not be popular at all. Or else they are so popular you cant get one because they are out of stock anywhere you go and no one owns one.
I have 6 helmet bags and never wanted one in orange until my xwing suit project started.
If you can get one please share with the group. Until then i'm almost done with mine.

Hey Rawktrooper, your posts here have been incredibly helpful (as is the entire thread). I was curious if you'd shared your final sewing pattern for the flak vest, or if anyone had one? I saw the pics of your work in progress but wondered if there was anything out there that can be used for reference.
My wife and I are working on one now (she's the seamstress in the family) and we're trying to figure out a lot of the more intricate details with the ribbing and spacing. I figure a lot of this is going to be trial-and-error - especially as the overall size should proportional to the wearer - but it'd be super helpful to have a starting point.
