I feel that there is something wrong with Rick's silencer on his Glock. While I know they are trying to be practical the Maglite flashlight tube they are using should have been cut down from below the switich and use the the full lenght of the tube for the body.Cut the tube below the switich, nake your muzzle/barrel thread plate, Have your gas tube run thru the tube, drilled and with steel wool for the baffle material, the have the end cap drilled for the muzzle.

Unless Rick was lucky enough to have a Glock with an extra long barrel, then there is nothing to thread and attach the supressor to.
Normally a longer barrel (at least 10mm longer than the slide) is used, which the end threaded and that's what a supresssor screws onto.
I would hazard a guess that Rick's supressed Glock is actually a gas-blowback airsoft pistol with a short piece of threaded rod inserted (glued?) into the muzzle and the flaslight modified and screwed onto that.
It wouldn't matter what was inside the flashlight, the slide just has to blow back and foley takes care of the noises.
A hole drilled down the centre (even a short, blind hole would suffice) of the threaded rod could simulate the muzzle crown if you wanted a scene where the supressor is attached or removed.

I don't think anyone has said this before but Carl's silencer looks like it was made from an aluminum fish bat with the handle cut off and held on the Beretta with a pipe clamp. I can't remember the exact episode but there was a scene in the prison where Carl had removed the silencer and was stuffing it with steel wool.
I would imagine that Ricks was made much the same, they probably left the reflector on the Mag-light in the show so you couldn't see how it was attached. It looks like the end of the slide is flush with where the glass on the mag-light would be so they probably have a tube running from the barrel to the battery compartment. If I was building this, I would file the slide of the Glock so I could slide a tube or copper pipe around the outside of the barrel and clamp or epoxy it in place so the slide would fit around not thicker barrel and run the other end into the battery tube of the mag-light.
I'm not a gunsmith so I may be totally wrong but it seems like it would work, you just wouldn't be able to remove the silencer since its glued to the barrel.
