Any price estimations?
What do mean by Hi capa addons? Is that for people who already have a hi capa 4.3?

The add-ons for the Hi-Capa would be the under-barrel unit and the Torchwood name barrel on the slide.

Price would be determined by interest - the more people who want one, the cheaper it's gonna be, I need to cover myself on making the molds.

In the UK, you could pick up one of these as a pretty close stand-in for the Hi-Capa:

Hfc - STTi 1/1 Pearl Blue H&K P8 Soft Shooter 6mm BB Pistol (SA2412) (HA-112) | Antics Online Model Shop

Cheap, and completeley legal under the VCR bill. Of course, I would never suggest spraying it black :angel

I Would be very interested in buying the attachment for the pistol if you were to do do some resin casts as I already own a hi Capa 4.3. Im not so bothered about the "Torchwood" Name plate. Also im very interested in the bit that surrounds tosh's pda. Would you be making any of them?

I need to get some caps from the blu-ray, there's quite a bit of detail on the top that houses the blue leds that is tough to make out in the images I've got.

I have been looking through some episodes that feature it, Exit wounds at the beginning shows the top detail and towards the end of exit wounds when Tosh dies it shows the blue LED's. If you like I could do a mock up in Photoshop of the end where the LED's are.

WRT Birdies scan in post #20:
It says "adapted to fire blank rounds" - I assume they mean they disabled the slide stop so they can continuously fire it empty. The mods to make it fire real blanks would be far too extensive, and would basically mean replacing almost the entire gun. "Journalistic licence" methinks.

From the photo, it looks like the slide stop is missing. That would allow empty firing, but considering that it also holds the barrel assembly in, and so stops the slide coming off, I would assume that's not a working prop.

I think they must have just miss laid the slide stop and to be able to fire the gun empty they use blue tac to hold the spring down in the magazine to be able to dry fire the airsoft hi capa 4.3 then add the sound and lighting affect in.
