TRON/RINZLER armor costume.

You should open up an account with photobucket or a similar site so you can upload there and integrate the pic updates into your posts. Just a thought :)

Looks pretty good so far, but i would really try and get clean and smooth cut lines on your pieces. They look a little blocky right now. I think it'd help with the overall look of the costume with smooth even lines throughout

hmmmmm do you mind telling you what you mean because i should be able to make them smoother but i cant moove anything.
 
The cut lines in the foam is what i'm referring to. I take it you cut the foam with scissors and then when you slightly adjust the angle of your cutting hand too quick, it doesnt leave a nice rounded cut. Just a suggestion. maybe its the the lines you have drawn on the foam that make it look that way

maybe.... i dont know. do you mind telling me which part specifically your talking about? and most of it should be fixed anyway once painted :D

ok so i think i figured out what you were talking about.... so heres the changes ive made BUT i didnt want to take and upload another picture until later so heres the changes i have done.

so i just started painting my identity disk with orange black light paint. then im gonna put glow in the dark paint over that. im planning on getting another one from target and since they are hollow on the back side so they can be thrown, im going to do the same thing to it as im doing to this one and im gonna make it where i can stick them together with either magnets or velcro, so i can pull them apart and have two like in the movie. i will also put velco towards the middle so i can stick it to my back, also like in the movie.
 
so guys, i think the suits coming out well but i do want it to be an exact replica so if anyone would be so kind to tell me what to add/ not add, or what you think i should do, i would greatly appreciate it.
 
with Rinzlers whole get up it looks cool because its form fitting so thats probably biggest shing a mah ling to tend to.
and what material is the shirt your using?

well, the form fitting thing is undercontrol, thats the good thing about using craft foam. all im gonna do is heat it up with a hair dryer and then put it on my chest and it should mold to the shape pf my body. the shirt is like a light black athletic type material.
 
so ive noticed my shirt ive got actualy has a hectagon/hexagon type pattern on it. its not perfect but you never see it on rinzler in the movie anyway so i dont care that much. that is the only thing actual going to make it not 100% accurate, but im fine with it.

ok so im trying to figure out how to post pictures on here, but it doesnt work. anyway, today i have molded the rinzler armor to fit me and ive made a stencil of hexagons to put on the shirt.

ok so heres some pictures of the armor fitting to me and the way it is bent. im just gonna say this once.... THE PINK PHONE IN THE PICTURE IS NOT MINE IT IS MY MOMS BUT IT WAS THE CLOSEST THING TO ME!!!
