I have made a mold of the actual vintage cap the respirator tips screw into. Yours is very very close.
I like those nuts you turned... would you be interested in a trade?

Great work. Ive always thought that TRs are one the weirdest looking dudes from the SW universe, they have this otherworldliness that is pretty unique!

A few weeks ago i finished version 2 of my Tusken Helmet/Mask Build. The differences to version 1 are suddle, but add to originality: Twillweave cloth and improved geometry/size/shape of facial parts/. I think the new owner is very happy with it ...
In the first picture(leftside, while wrapping) you can see the gap from cutting the inner shell and moving it apart to give room between eyes. On my first version(which is part of my PD Tusken Raider costume) i had them moved closer together to have more visibility. On version 2 i wanted to move closer to the original. This makes the mask even bigger, which also is closer to the original. The rightside picture shows the Original ANH PD Tusken mask from propstore Stephen Lane's collection and is a still taken from the "Tested" episode "Full review of original Tusken raider mask"
Notably the wrapping is different on some places, as over the last 40 years some had been cut off(!!!) or the handler wasn't able to arrange it in the right way (at the time of filming) Referring to old Production photos, i tried to put the wrappings as they were by the time of filming ANH
