Interest Veracity Labs - THE V2 FX Build (DIY Kit)

Any updates on any of this / new ETA?
Yeah actually! Right before dealing with some home construction, international family visiting, and getting very sick again- I managed to print and workshop multiple versions with Adam and Lewis to arrive at what we have here- which since sent off to development with the machinist, TXQ.
This took some more time than anticipated, as the new body causes the switch windows to hit in different locations than expected- I decided to print them to confirm the actuation was in the right spot and works.
Now with TXQ, the designs need to be confirmed with their engineering to produce a sample that passes the fit and function test. Should have a time estimate there soon.

Also seen in this, vented pommel (one of the items being re-made) , txq cone knob, and the new mystery chunks which look great.
The clamps will need to be bent manually once they arrive but I think it is worth it to achieve the asymmetrical ends. Feel free to double check the reference to observe the nuance in the clamp. Really glad we caught it

Chambers:
About 6AM in the UK- Lewis appears to have been bagging, sorting, and says he will actually be beginning shipments (within the week?). I assume that will be a few at a time. These orders are prioritizing those that were paid/unfulfilled by the UK machinist.

V2: TXQ pommel revisions have taken longer in engineering than expected. Sorry guys we’re just trying to make sure we’re only doing this once

Excellent news about the chambers. I understand these have been a long time coming. As per my conversation with Veracity on FB, they were hoping to lock in the pommel updates by last Monday. Can you speak as to whether the updates were indeed confirmed and if the pommels are in production?

Well Lewis’ communicated goal was last Monday, and in fact the model was locked in and sent over for what should be the last round of engineering checks with TXQ. Sometimes between the model, drawings, the tooling available, software, even the capability of the machine need to be reviewed and revised to arrive at the desired outcome. So- that being said the mill mark was a big round of back and forth revision between one or all of those elements - after last weeks communication, I *believe* the engineers are good on the model/ tooling/ machining code since we actually haven’t had any pushback or questions about it now. As of last friday everything should be OK. Now we are waiting on confirmation of actual machining beginning for those pommel pieces.

I appreciate the thoroughness of your answer. I know you're probably just as eager to see the run completed as we are.
