With the lining it does, but when I removed the lining from the jacket, it completely disappeared.

I think the reason removing the lining from the jacket removes the squared shoulders is because it makes the jacket very stiff and holds the shoulders up. Removing it cause the jacket to be loose and more flexible.

They did but the UGG jacket has rounded shoulders even before removing the lining of the jacket.

im sure that removing the lining will help with the shoulders to some degree but every replica has a fundamental issue due to the cut of the jacket itself. however if removing the lining helps with that issue its a nice side effect for people looking to alter a jacket like the show did.
