What does Matsuo owe you? (Problems with Matsuo)

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

Indeed it does, thanks for taking the time to post, and that goes for everyone who has commented on this matter.Only time will tell now.

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

Like most, I did a double take when I saw this thread. :lol

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

Thanks guys, I'm humbled by your praise and support.
Satellite I'm still working as hard as I can as outside forces permit me.
I've been contacted by a few others concerned about their orders and I can promise the same.

I honestly don't know where to begin or even if I should relate exactly what I face on a daily basis. It's like a nightmare from which I cannot awake.
Briefly and perhaps bluntly... Our daughter is mentally ill, caring for her at times is exhausting.

We were kicked out of our home by a landlord who wanted to terminate the lease early so she could sell the house... We chose not to fight, even though the weight of Missouri law and renters rights were on our side. The new house is smaller and is turning out to be not exactly what we had signed on for. Due to the lack of extra storage my own workshop has accumulated overflow since I had nowhere else to go with. My junk and it's hampering my ability to work efficiently.

Both my parents are terminally ill, my mom here locally and my dad in Florida. We are in the process of liquidating moms estate and belongings in order to pay for hospice care. There is a dizzying amount of administrated work involved in that.

Not so briefly.... Finding the proper school for the kid has been challenging. She was thriving in her elementary school but it was tuition based and we could no longer afford to send her there. Public school was a horrible disaster. We tried homeschooling which started well but failed also. We finally fought for and got services for her to send her to a well known special needs school, which at first seemed like a good fit but ultimately failed due to her being the youngest kid in a school full of troubled teens. She was bullied relentlessly and almost wound up inpatient in a mental health facility because of it. Leading us to this point right now where I care for her during summer break and she's scheduled to attend a new school that we hope will address her needs and has kids closer to her age.

Oh and by the way there are riots and looting just north of us... And a band of mobile looters decided to hit a shopping plaza not even a mile from my home. My wife's office is in the heart of the area where the riots and demonstrations are. I escorted her to work yesterday but she was brave and went in without my assistance today even though the unrest continues...

So yeah, like I said... Nightmare...:/

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

There are some core members here that I would trust and follow through thick and thin. Matsuo has earned a special place here for some of his extraordinary projects. If members are too quick to fire off shots at a persons reputation - it can tend to cause others not to take on some really awesome projects. The chilling effect can cause more damage than solve. I have a couple of Matsuo props that are some of my most cherished props. I would hate to loose the artist because they ran across hard times and delayed completion of a project. If someone torpedoed me during hard times - I would be very selective of projects I would take on. I would deal only with trusted friends that KNOW - I will come through or refund the money. I hate to see this thread on the forum. I don't know MATSUO personally - I just know his work.

I would like to find a solution to settle it.

If I knew how much money you were out - I would consider paying investment back to you just to settle the complaint. I don't want to loose MATSUO over this. MATSUO would not owe me anything. Sometimes we (as a group) need to "pay it forward." MATSUO is worth a "pay it forward."

PM me - tell me how much you are out. I will try to find the money to settle the debt and MATSUO is off the hook. Just post the situation is resolved and all parties are satisfied.

BELIEVE me - I am no money bags. A save and save to buy my props. I have a family to support and kids to provide for. I appreciate everything that I have. I count every penny and work hard for every dime. But I believe in good people. I will help friends when they are down. I will help anyone I can.

If it is a LOT of money that i can't cover alone - maybe FRIENDS of MATSUO might come together and settle this for him.

*********** Let me be CLEAR - I have not asked MATSUO anything about this - I only know what I read on this post - and MATSUO did not ask for my help. Sometimes we have to help when people are down and too proud to ask for help. Helping a friend is more tangible than adding another pistol to my collection. *********************************

MATSUO - I hope you don't mind me jumping in - I LOVE my Equilibrium Pistol - THANKS - I hope you see better days soon.

I would like to end this ASAP.

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

I had a prop I was going to get Friday. It can wait. I can help a little...

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

I know Matt and I can kick in some cash if necessary. I know Matt will make anything good. With the current situation with so much that is beyond his control his timetable has slipped a bit, but I can guarantee that if Matt said he will make good, he will. He is that kind of stand up guy.

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

I am really knocked out by the generosity that you guys have shown, and thank you very much.
I'm not a long standing member so to be given these offers is amazing.
The thing is, I really would like the piece from Matt,so I want to see if he can deliver in the end.
I can take heart in the knowledge that you all are taking an interest in my,and indeed Matt's predicament, and hope that it all can be resolved in the near future.
And for Matt,it was never my intention to tarnish your good reputation,I now realise your issues fully, the other members of the RPF obviously hold you in high regard, that, for me is good enough and I hope that you can find the time to finish this project.

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO PM'd and offered financial support to fix this. We can stand down - problem abated.

MATSUO has more friends here than he knows - people were offering significant amounts that could have covered anything with ease - and MATSUO never had to even ask.

Phil PM'd me and said he has all confidence MATSUO will come through and is willing to wait - Matt already contacted him. ALL IS GOOD !

MATSUO - We love you MAN !

MATSUO has the highest reputation and the highest confidence by members.

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

I would wait any amount of time for a piece from MATSUO... He's just that good.

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

I spent better part of an hour last night poring over numerous photos of his resin guns, and wishing I had one of each.

Someday, when I hit the lottery... :D

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

Guys, I don't know what to say.. I'm speechless! I wish I could offer my thanks in person to everyone who has supported me or offered to help!

I need to make something clear... I'm very stubborn, and it's a matter of pride in a way, that I complete my obligations. All I really want is for people to have cool props.

Let's just get past this and make sure the OP gets everything he needs and move on from there.

As always anyone else needs to bring anything up that I've fallen behind on please notify me... I NEED to know so I can remedy the problem, I have way too much going on and need those reminders to keep me on track!

HEY!! I'm trying to get him to move down my way in Texas, Cut it Out!! :)

Re: Problems with Matsuo?

I too own two of Matts amazing replicas. They got delayed due to family issues and even though "delays suck", I am a firm believer of Family comes first :) in the end I got what I paid for and it was definitely well worth the wait, to say the least! :D

Late to the game here but another notch in MATSUO's belt of awesomeness. His castings are by far, the best I've ever seen. I don't know what his secret is but let's just say that if there are a string of missing virgins around his area, I wouldn't be surprised. There's voodoo in them molds I tells ya!

Either way, Matt's a stellar guy and will always get a 100% rating in my book. Trust me, when the product arrives, you would gladly have waited twice as long for it.
