What's on your workbench? (no Star Wars, Marvel or DC stuff)

Current work in progress:

You always have the stuff I don't recognize. What is this you are working on? It looks like a harddrive but obviously not one?

thank you

Thanks AnubisGuard !

Yep, that's from Silo. If you haven't watched Silo, I highly recommend it. Season 2 starts this month!

I don't usually operate on R2, so this is a unique picture. I'm attempting to take one of the jumbo size figures and get some electronics installed. Today I'm working on a push button that will turn on the dome lights.

I happened to come across a sound/light box (it's the grey box toward the bottom) that was probably pulled from a greeting card, so I'll attempt to add sounds to this guy as well.

Nothing too wild or special but I recently bought a 3D printer and was amazed at what was available to print off.
This 3D Tron Tank was a kit of parts.
Once printed I had to marry and adjust the parts to fit snug as the component parts were tighter than a drum and refused to slot together.
I then filled any defects sanded polished and threw down a few layers of paint.
The tank tracks are just a holding colour until the more sand coloured matt primer arrives.

I've always loved this model and never thought I'd be in the possession of one..

Looks sharp! What's the brand of the 3-D machine(y)(y)

I forgot to mention I keep it housed in a little Alluminium type framed tent, it keeps things dry and a constant temp with any free silica bags I chuck in too.
Are you printing in your shed? I know that you're in the U.K. and, as a tradition, it rains a lot and the humidity might also be a problem.
Thanks for the little trick of putting that aluminium tent over the printer!(y)(y)

Ha!... My work bench is literally in a Georgian cellar under the house the printer is in a north facing Anex which gets no sun and is like a Fridge all year round so a bit mindful of any fluctuations which could cool the bed and lift the print off the plate.
