You always have the stuff I don't recognize. What is this you are working on? It looks like a harddrive but obviously not one?

That looks like an old internal hard drive case.
Looks sharp! What's the brand of the 3-D machineNothing too wild or special but I recently bought a 3D printer and was amazed at what was available to print off.
This 3D Tron Tank was a kit of parts.
Once printed I had to marry and adjust the parts to fit snug as the component parts were tighter than a drum and refused to slot together.
I then filled any defects sanded polished and threw down a few layers of paint.
The tank tracks are just a holding colour until the more sand coloured matt primer arrives.

I've always loved this model and never thought I'd be in the possession of one..
After looking for ages I went with the Bambu A1 with AMS feed, it's been pretty awesome so far.Looks sharp! What's the brand of the 3-D machine![]()
I'm running the same setup, it's been awesome so far. After looking for ages I went with the Bambu A1 with AMS feed, it's been pretty awesome so far.
I forgot to mention I keep it housed in a little Alluminium type framed tent, it keeps things dry and a constant temp with any free silica bags I chuck in too.I'm running the same setup, it's been awesome so far.
Are you printing in your shed?I forgot to mention I keep it housed in a little Alluminium type framed tent, it keeps things dry and a constant temp with any free silica bags I chuck in too.
Ha!... My work bench is literally in a Georgian cellar under the house the printer is in a north facing Anex which gets no sun and is like a Fridge all year round so a bit mindful of any fluctuations which could cool the bed and lift the print off the plate. Are you printing in your shed?I know that you're in the U.K. and, as a tradition, it rains a lot and the humidity might also be a problem.
Thanks for the little trick of putting that aluminium tent over the printer!![]()
