What's Your Favorite Movie Sword

Hmm, tough question... I'm a big fan of Mifune's Nodachi from Seven Samurai, but I think that's because I'm a big fan of Japanese weaponry anyway. Which in turn makes me a big fan of the Brides sword from Kill BillÂ…as well as Zatoichis sword.

I'm a big fan of fantasy swords like those in LOTRs, including Anduril and a lot of the elven weaponry, like Hadhafang.

I love the style and mystery of the Green Destiny too.

And if I could choose it as well, I also like Gattsu's sword from the anime Berserk, Kenshins Sakabatou from Rurouni Kenshin, Seigfried/Nightmares sword from Soul Calibur and Clouds sword from Final Fantasy.

So all in all I don't know which my favourite movie sword is..

I was thinking of Kikuchiyo's big ol' sword from Seven Samurai too. But I don't actually LIKE it, I just think it's funny the way the poor guy overcompensates...

The Spartan sword from 300: meant for killing, not for show.

The GIANT sword from "Musa" the warrior. I don't know the charater that has it. But if you watch the film you'll know it when you see it. It's Big, It's Mean, and provides some splishy-splashy-splattery choppy-choppy action during the fight in the forest.

There are a couple of really cool swords in Tsui Hark's Seven Swords that are really cool. I can't remember the names of them, it's been a while.

and of coarse - Darth Vader's Light Saber..

Well it is a "lightsaber" not a "sword". ...please most folks can't even limit themself to "A" favorite instead they put a list of various swords, adding lightsabers to the matter will make the posts a mile long.

Or D'artanian's rapier from the three musketeers, the one from the late 90's.
