Question Why is there no Star Trek category in the "Popular Franchises" section?

Star Trek consists of 5 different live action series going on number 6 pretty soon, the Animated series and 13 movies yet it doesn't have it's own category in the "Popular Franchises" section. Never mind all of the other media out there for it. Some of the categories there have far less content, yet have their own section. Maybe it's there and I've missed it all these years. Can someone explain?

So you're saying it's THE most popular franchise. I think such an icon deserves it's own section then, right?

I'm sure you know that this started out as a Star Wars prop Board so the bias still remains.

Trek is already served well by other places on the net.

All the Star wars fans KNOW the only reason the Net was created was for Trek and Porn anyway!

Well it's called The Replica Prop forum, not The Star Wars Prop Forum. I originally came here looking for Star Wars props, but I like both Star Wars and Star Trek so I think it's time the board opens up just a little. I mean they have a Judge Dredd,Halo and Predator section and although I'm sure there are lots of fans for those, all three combined don't come close to having the amount of content Star Trek has.

When you joined it was called "The Star Wars Replica Prop Forum", but I agree with you here - If Judge Dredd can have his own sub-forum, then Star Trek surely can have one.

Well...all I know is when I came here the first thing I said was..."There better be a freaking section dedicated to only Judge Dredd or I am out of here!"

And what do my wondering eyes see? A freaking Judge Dredd section! Too cool!!! And why is it cool? Come on...if I have to explain it to you then you are truly not a huge Judge Dredd fan and you obviously do not know the historical IMPORTANCE of having a Judge Dredd section.

But if I must explain...it is the story of some Judge cop dude...that "dreads" stuff. (But he spells it "Dredd" because it looks freaking cooler!) In fact, this judge just plain dreads everything to the point he has this silly looking duck face pout on his lips at all times. And he uses "The Law" to figure it out...in total awesome ways...ways that deserve him to have his own freaking section on this board!

No, it has a much better Judge than Dredd.

Actually Dr. Leonard "Freaking Awesome" McCoy WAS Judge Dredd, long story but some Ferengi slipped him some bad Juju in his Mint Julip and threw him through a time portal.

Took about the whole episode to get him back but if you were a Trekkie, or Trekker and bought in to the whole Alt Timeline you would have known this!

I think part of the reason for some of the sections was due to new movies coming out and the onslaught of threads that were clogging up the main prop and costume forums. They were getting bumped constantly and all of the other threads simply got lost in the noise.

This is what I thought as well. The number of Iron Man threads got ridiculous at one point. I just don't see many threads on Star Trek in the regular forums. Maybe that's the reason. The predator and Halo ones are actually links to other sites. I have no idea why there is a Judge Dredd section.
