WIP - Master Chief Helmet

Sorry for the double post, but does anyone know which HJC visor would fit best? I know I still have to cut, but what is the largest one?

Sadly, it became warped so I won't mold it, yet. I'll have to figure a way to fixing it up or I could mold it later on and just work with a heat gun on the casts.

Honestly, I'm not sure what you're looking for? More of a pat on the back? Certainly a decent effort if this is your first go at this type of project. Definitely a lot of time, effort, and love in this. I know...I was one of the first people around here who made armor by hand. That being said, if your intent is to cast this for yourself, I guess you can...although you've already got a copy for yourself, so I don't know why you would. If your intent is to mold this to reproduce it for others to purchase...I'd probably save your effort. While posting a project like this does give a sense of accomplishment...and again, I applaud your efforts...it's certainly not something we're all going to say, "OMG, that's the best helmet ever!" Sorry...hate to burst your bubble.

this project has been done by quite a few people.. and everybody that i have seen do it with papkura looks really close to the same thing.. so i guess most people who have said things about this have already stated there mind in other threads that are similar to this one..

I guess it's just what I wanted to hear (read). In fact, I wanted to ask if I should rework it before molding it, or molding, reshape the plastic with a heatgun and remold.

Or just start a new one.

And don't worry, I'm the first one saying it's inacurate and warped and such

And yeah well Pepakura is Pepakura. It's not as original as a clay sculpt, I agree.
