WIP Realistic Ice King From Adventuretime

Since I am on hold while my wife constructs the textile part of my Thorin costume, I started to help my brother with his Ice King costume.

He already did a pretty cool version at Dragon*con last year, but we wanted to make it a little creepier and realistic.



So the first step? Sculpting a new silicone mask!

This will only be a half mask, attached with a little pros aide and elastic straps.

After a couple of days of work:



I am video taping the whole sculpting process, so I will have that up after I finish.

Awesome start! Will you be doing the crown/back of hands as well?

I think we plan to do finger less gauntlet style gloves, with blue fingers and long icicle like fingernails. As for the crown, the one he currently has is made of leather with rub n buff over top. While traveling it has gotten smudged off and has given it a cool aged look. But Paul is fabricating some shoulder armor out of foam, so he may do the crown to match.
