I really only have one horror movie that I really like. Charles Laughton's Night of the Hunter. I'll concede it's more of a thriller than any sort of slasher anything, but it is a child's nightmare flawlessly caught on celluloid.

Robert Mitchum is one of my all time favorite actors. He's better in this than Cape Fear. the fact that Charles Laughton never made another film is a shame.
